One writes to make a home for oneself, on paper, in time, in others' minds."

I really don’t know who Kazin is, but seems like he is my kind. Whatever I write, I always hope people remember not just the written but also the writer. They remember me.
I was 12 when I started writing silly poems on greeting cards. As I grew up, I pursued a diploma in journalism after doing my BA in English literature. And I jumped straight into the Internet boom. Yeah, it was a bit strange to talk about latest fashion trends when you are just recovering from an overdose of Shelley & Shakespeare.
I did content writing for 6 years till I heard my calling. I realised I had to tell stories. So I quit my ‘stable-9-to-5-job’ & got into television.
3 years down the line, I have worked on a few good shows (Remix, Kosmic Chat, India Calling etc), written 2 books, 3 short films & many poems which get me the hits on my blog. (I think they are as silly as the ones I wrote on greeting cards when I was 12. But my friends think otherwise. I’m not complaining!)
So have I made a home for myself?? Nah!! But inching closer for sure!!
